In 1976, Company founded by our present managing director, Mr. Theodore Wan in Hong Kong. The former company name was General Carbon Company.

In 1989, A machining shop was founded in Guangzhou of Guangdong Province, China.

Early 1996, We became a member of Schunk Group and renamed to Schunk General Carbon Ltd. Schunk Germany was established in 1913. The Group presently employs approximately 6,120 people worldwide and has 77 companies in 23 countries.

Mid 1996, A new company namely Schunk General Carbon (Panyu) Co., Ltd. was founded in Panyu of Guangdong Province, China. We then purchased land for building up our own factory.

Early 1998, The construction of Panyu factory came to the end. With the bringing in of Germany technology, implementation of advanced production equipments, we started production in this new factory more varieties of carbon and graphite related products as well as elevator parts.

In 1999, First production of earthing contacts in Panyu factory. Earthing contacts are used in locomotive industry.

In 2000, Production preparation of pantographs, which are also used in locomotive industry, in Panyu factory. At the same time, we are award for ISO 9002 for Panyu factory.

In 2001, Production of the first batch of pantographs will be finished under schedule. We will get approval of ISO 9002 from TUR CERT, Germany within the schedule time frame. As to cope with more exposure of the company's business, we will set up a new sales office in Shanghai of China.

In July of 2002, our Shanghai Office established and commence running and providing service.
